Matapalo
A Quaint Town on the Way to the Beach
On the way to Playa Grande, you go through the quaint Tico town called Matapalo. If you take the road on the northwest side of town, it will take you to all the lovely beaches south of Playa Conchal, like Bahia de los Piratas, Playa Minas and Playa Real. It's a great location if you want to be close to some of the most wonderful beaches in the country.
Just one block off the main square is a great new gated community, called Cabo Vela Estates.
