The "Big City"of the Gold Coast 

Santa Cruz is the county seat, called the Canton, for the Gold Coast Area, in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica. It is one of the larger cities in Guanacaste, slightly smaller than Liberia, the capital of the province. This is where most of the services and shopping can be found for the area.
