Playa Flamingo
Little San Francisco, but with sparkling white sandy beaches and much warmer weather
The beauty of Flamingo Beach was discovered years ago and so the town is quite developed, with a bank, pharmacy, grocery store, hotels and night life. There are some wonderful large homes built out on the peninsula and along the sparkeling white sand beach. You'll find some great beach property in Playa Flamingo. There are excellent choices for real estate in Playa Flamingo, with existing and new homes and condos available now, in this very popular little town known as Little San Francisco.
The North side of the peninsula will be home to the new Flamingo Marina. The old marina was shut down in 2003 and the new marina is in the planning process now. The marina will be a great asset to the area as boaters, fishing enthusiast and cruise ships find a convenient port to call home.
The hills behind Flamingo Beach offer some wonderful ocean views and quiet residential communities.
